The Museum is set over two floors. The main entrance is level access from the car park. It has a clear sign above the doorway.
Parking for disabled visitors
There is one designated access parking bay near the door. If this is full, there are several other accessible bays available in the car park.
Stairlift and Wheelchair
There is a stairlift available to access the second floor. Please ring the bell at the front door for assistance and a steward will meet you at the door. There is s wheelchair available on the second floor.
All assistance dogs are welcome. However, as much of the Museum is open display we cannot allow entrance to pet dogs.
Visitors with access requirements are eligible to bring a person to support their visit free of charge.
There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor of the building.
There is a variety of seating available for visitors to sit on throughout the Museum, some with backs and arms.
There is a hearing induction loop in the Reception area and in Room 10.
