Local History Research

Nidderdale Museum has a room where special exhibitions are held and talks are given to groups visiting the Museum.

Our extensive library includes a selection of local history and other books relating to Nidderdale. We also have books and booklets for sale, which can be purchased from the Museum.

We have the facility for accessing local history information and some limited family history records, held at the Museum. If you are interested in using our materials for research purposes, please contact the Museum Secretary to arrange your research visit.
