The Museum has more than 32,000 artefacts, documents and photos within its collections. For those of you who have visited us, we are sure that you will have one or two favourite items that have a real meaning for you. Maybe this will be based on having seen the item in your grandmother’s house, or feeling empathy for people in one of the photos, or imagining yourself dressed in one of the Edwardian dresses… Whatever the reason, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please e-mail us at admin@nidderdalemuseum.com, giving the name of the item, and a short description of why it is special to you. We will then photograph the item and post it with your comments on this site and on our Facebook page. We look forward to hearing about your favourite things.
