A few weeks ago, the Museum was visited by a conservator who carried out an audit of the Museum’s collections. We were pleased to hear that much of what we are doing is good, and will be building a Conservation Care Plan so that other highlighted issues can be dealt with over the next few years, as resources become available. Fortunately there are very few problems that need urgent attention. We are grateful to the Pilgrim Trust, via AIM (Association of Independent Museums) for funding this initial audit.
