Tour the Museum
A
walk around the Nidderdale Museum reveals a fascinating treasure trove of
objects
from bygone days. The majority of the items have come from the homes of local
people over the years. Highlights of the museum are the village store, the
Victorian Parlour and the cobbler's workshop. The schoolroom is popular
with children where they can sit at the old school desks and imagine themselves
as Victorian school children.
The Museum holds an annual exhibition on a local theme such as Music in the
Dale, or a special showing of a selection of exhibits not usually seen.
